Mr. Eric Cantor,

Thank you for trying to keep us safe. Closing Guantanamo would be a grave mistake and would impact our Nation for years to come.

You are trying to make the Republican Party more inclusive to the American public, teaching the values and ideas of the Party. As a conservative Independent, I am steering more and more away from the Republican Party because of the voices of the Party. Ann Colter, Russ Limbaugh, Hannity....these voices are poisening your party. After a hard day of work, turning on FOX News and listening to their NO - VIRAL voice makes me turn the channel. They are just as much ratical Rebulican as the Ratical Democrats. That is not me or the majority of American's I know.

If you want to rebuild the Republican Party, become more inclusive to those who have issues with immigration, and the important issues to the Republican Party, stick a cork in these people.

Hey Eric. From your former fellow legislator in Virginia, great job! Keep up the good work.

If you can, please have someone look into H.R. 1579 now pending before one of your committees to see if anything can be sensibly salvaged. The notion of providing a tax credit for contributions to a 501(c)(3) entity to help raise private dollars to assist with some of the financial burdens of post secondary education is a good one if targeted. See here what we are doing in Virginia with a program which takes advantage of a similar state program:

Hope to see you soon.

Great interview ! I am glad that you made it clear that you don't want the President himself to fail but only his policys. Please keep supporting rural values , animal agriculture and the second amendment. The H.S.U.S. is a serious threat to the above mentioned organizations and we need your help.

Eric,

It was great to hear you speak in California with Ed Royce at the April 9th breakfast.
I just viewed your interview and you did a marvelous job.
I'm one who hopes you do run for President some day.

A question-
How can you stop your Republican colleagues from continuing with their Earmarks and Pork Projects to win votes in their District? If the Republican Party is going to win they must walk the talk and quit adding to the budget deficit. God Bless You and Your Family!

Eric,
Thanks for representing the values and ethics that are the bedrock of Virginia and this country! Also. you're right that it's not about Obama, it's about his policies; perhaps when the citizens comprehend what his policies will do to them and their children, we will see the change we need.
Regards,
