It is hard to believe, but we have less than two months until the election! As I’ve traveled around the district, I am encouraged by the energy and enthusiasm that Virginians have for my re-election campaign. I believe that we have the momentum to win this November. In order for us to be successful, I have two favors to ask of you.

First, in September, we would like to get yard signs in the yards of all of our supporters across the 7th district. Yard signs are the most visible way to get the word out about the election and to show your support for my campaign, and I would appreciate it if you would agree to display a sign in your yard.

Second, I am also asking for your help with our “Neighbor to Neighbor” program. If you agree to participate, we will send you postcards that you can mail to your family, friends, and neighbors, letting them know that Election Day is November 4th, and that you hope that they will join you in supporting my campaign for re-election. I depend on your help in getting the word out about the upcoming election, and the personal touch that these postcards provide is invaluable.

Like the election, the fourth annual 7th district Republican Round-up is just around the corner. The event will be held, rain or shine, Saturday, September 27, 2008 from 4PM -7PM at the Innsbrook Pavilion in Glen Allen.
