I want to personally thank everyone for their support of my re-election campaign. I am humbled by the confidence you have placed in me and promise to do all I can to faithfully represent our shared values in Washington.
Our Commonwealth and our country face a pivotal time in history and many difficult challenges. From the financial crisis, to energy independence, to the War on Terror, we must remain steady in our resolve to face these challenges head on. I am looking forward to rolling up my sleeves and getting to work on these important issues.
I thank you again for your support and your hard work.

November 6th, 2008 at 12:54 pm I would like to congratulate you on your victory. I am a long time supporter and am so happy that you won!
I feel relief to have you with us still.
November 6th, 2008 at 6:00 pm Cantor, your job is a BIG one, but one I’m certain you can handle. I’m so excited that you have been re-elected. I hope that you will help re-energize our Republican Party. I’d love to see a Cantor/Watts 2012 ticket! (or vice versa) I’m excited for the future, because we have a new start, we have four years to get things together!
November 7th, 2008 at 12:58 pm What an Epic Win! Cantor 2012 is what I say! Make it happen!!
November 7th, 2008 at 5:05 pm Congrats on your strong showing. It’s great to have a Republican fighting for the 7th District and against Nancy Pelosi. Now if you could only reevaluate your position on the UIGEA I would be out campaigning for Cantor 2012 for Prez!
November 10th, 2008 at 2:58 pm Congratulations on your re-election. It is encouraging to see a new generation of conservatives stepping up and making an impact. I hope to see you run for president in 4 years. Good luck with your upcoming term.
November 11th, 2008 at 6:31 pm Congratulations on your re-election. Now how about stopping any more stealing of Taxpayer $$s to bailout the failing corps! Be true to your conservative principles, don’y get rolled by the Socialist in both parties. That is step 1 for the GOP! Do your duty.
November 12th, 2008 at 2:35 pm I am very excited that you have been re-elected! Like Lisa has stated, I hope that you will re-energize the Republican Party and make it again what it once was.
But I also think the time to start this is NOW.
One of things I would like to see change is the Eric Cantor entry changed on Wikipedia.org to better portray who you are and what you stand for. Right now, it really sells Eric short and it needs to be polished up and speak to youth of today and anyone that searches Cantor using the Wikipedia source.
Its just one small thing in the scheme of things, but important nonetheless. Cantor is my current choice for a 2012 run.
