May 6th, 2010 at 5:50 pmEric,Thank you for speaking out on all the current issues. We stood behind the Bush administration as he led our son to war with the 101st Airborne division in 2003.Our family is not from a military background however we fell the need for the strongest defense of our country. So much so that we support our son’s dedicated service to this great nation .We need a leader like yourself to stand up to the current administration.Do not stoop to their level but continue to lead with intelligence and courage. Sincerely ,Matt and Carrie Bernd Locust grove Va.

May 6th, 2010 at 6:41 pmEric- I have enjoyed your comments on all the subjects that have come up this year. You are right that the USA doesn’t have to bow to anyone. We have always supported the world and good people know this. I don’t understand the agenda of our President that he has to apologize to any country. Thanks for your strong stand against the corruption in Washington and we can only pray that we see fit to ask God for forgiveness and help.
Janet burton Says:
May 6th, 2010 at 7:01 pmI agree with what you are saying about staying on our allies side. Most of all I want to see both our Senate and Congress once again on the side of Israel. We don’t need to offend them. They are God’s chosen people and have always had God’s blessing and we need to remain on there side so we can share in there blessings. Thank you for letting me voice my comments.
My sense is that you are one of the very few Republicans– beside Newt Gringrich and Karl Rove– who can articulate a vision for our country, sound policies, and hard rationale for them. Keep up the great work you do in defending our American ideals.

May 6th, 2010 at 9:13 pmThank you for your video with Greta and your request for my response.
I fully agree with your comments about our national security and would add that a major component of national security is a solid financial base and the means paying for the defense that we need.
For your information, our Total Public Debt Outstanding (deficit) increased $3.7 billion per week under Clinton’s 8 years and $11.8 billion per week under Bush’s 8 years. and is growing at $34.5 billion per week for the 67 weeks (Tuesday, Jan. 20, 2009 to Tuesday,
May 4, 2010) of the Obama Administration. Clearly unsustainable and limiting our ability to fund the military and defense of our country. We already have citizens saying that the military funding should be spent on national operating expenses. The Chinese and other foreigners buying our bonds might begin to have an influence on our defense decisions.

May 7th, 2010 at 5:00 amThank you for your vision. It is disturbing to witness how bad things have gotten since this Administration took office–not to say that it was perfect before but it is now out of control.
How do we make them understand what direction we want our country to go–smaller government, halt on spending, balancing our budget so we don’t become like Greece?
Glenn Beck had a great show yesterday with legal immigrants who said that since they have come to this country they have seen our freedom being diminished–bit by bit.
Keep up the good work. I can honestly say that there are only 3 people in Congress that I trust and you are one of them.

May 7th, 2010 at 6:06 amI agree !! Included in our national security should be the securing of our national borders. Forget the Hispanic votes and don’t believe for a minute that we don’t know what’s up with that. I am not accusing you, but the democrats are worried about the next election and they should be.

May 7th, 2010 at 2:03 pmYour comments were excellent. I can recall when America was at it’s greatness we had a well defined and articulated National Security Policy. Today, under President Obama it is difficult to know what our Policy is. If we are apologizing to other countries for trying to do well, that is undermining our efforts and desires for peace and freedom. Also if we do not treat our friends and allies with respect and honor, then we will be the recipients of the same. Thanks for all that you dol.

May 10th, 2010 at 9:28 pmGreetings from 1st district VA.
I agree with you Eric , 100% With China’s navy growing perhaps larger than our own navy and their army as well, we have a lot to lose. Dropping our guard puts us into what I have often termed “The Pearl Harbor Syndrome”.
We need to maintain and grow our fleet of ships and strengthen our Armed Forces across the board. We dropped our guard with 911 and I fear we will do it again.
We must not anger our friends in this World nor should we bow before anyone other than GOD.
Like the Roman empire Our nation is on the brink of similar failure. WAKE UP AMERICA!

May 12th, 2010 at 11:58 pmCongressman Cantor I believe you are one of only a handful of congressmen that is doing your job with great conservative goals.
Here is a TIP THAT WILL GET YOU MORE FACE TIME AND VOTES THAN YOU CAN EVER IMAGINE!!!
There is over 170 mil in domestic violence grant money that is being used to help ILLEGAL ALIENS USE THE VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMENS ACT TO GET CITIZENSHIP AFTER THE ALIEN HAS BEEN ORDERED DEPORTED FOR VARIOUS CRIMES.
There are two issues of importance:
(1) why is grant money being used to help illegal aliens( that are being NETWORKED BY groups likeCATHOLIC CHARITIES) on how to make fraudulent abuse charges against AMERICAN CITIZENS so that they can self petition for a I-136 petition.
(2)Why are people that are using this loophole not PROPERLY DEPORTED,AND VETED BEFORE THEY ARE GIVEN TEMPORARY PROTECTED STATUS VISAS AND ACCESS TO VICTIMIZE AMERICAN CITITZENS. WHEN A FRAUDULENTLY OBTAINED TEMPORARY PROTECTED VISA IS ISSUED TO A PERSON THAT WAS ORDERED DEPORTED UNDER A DIFFERENT NAME IS NOT REVOKED ALLOWING THIS PERSON TO USE FALSE UNPROVEN ABUSE CHARGES TO GET CITIZENSHIP WHAT IS NEXT?
Will it take a terrorist living under one of these TEMPORARY PROTECTED STATUS VISA THAT WAS PREVIOUSLY ORDERED DEPORTED TO COMMIT SOME HORRIFIC ACT TO FORCE THE BRANCHES OF THE IMMIGRATION DEPORTATION DIVISION TO COMMUNICATE WITH THE STATUS ADJUSTMENT DIVISION?
I AM RETIRED NYPD OFFICER who has lost everything(bankrupcy and foreclosure soon)defending my self against false charges(all thrown out) because of my estranged wife trying to invoke the violence womens act because I FOUND OUT AFTER 7YRS OF MARRIAGE THAT SHE CAN NEVER GET CITIZENSHIP AND WAS ORDERED DEPORTED BEFORE I MARRIAGE HER.
My wife has a immigration deportation order under a different name in NYC and she is living like a aerospace engineer in the 18th wealthest zip code in Colorado while living with a temporary protected status visa application(because she is from Hondoras) that she recieved by not disclosing she was ordered deported in NYC 10/24/2001.
Iam sure this is A BIG ISSUE IN FLORIDA IF IT HAS IMPACTED AN AMERICAN CITIZEN LIVING IN COLORADO(retired NYPD OFFICER NO LESS). (It isn’t just a personal misery story TAXPAYERS ARE FUNDING THE SCAM AND THE VICTIMIZATION OF FELLOW CITIZENS.(charities are using it as a form of social justice against American injustices).
PLEASE CONTACT CONGRESSMAN MIKE COFFMAN’S OFFICE( 6TH DISTRICT Colorado)and try to correspond with his senior constituent advocate Ms.Ellen Casarone(720-283-9772,fax720-283-9776).
Thank you for the time and I pray SOMEONE IN YOUR STAFF has the networking and influence to have the misuse of the VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMENS ACT put under scrutiny.
I have lost everything as I have said before (YOU CAN NEVER PROTEST AND FIGHT ENOUGH IF YOU ARE AN INNOCENT PERSON).
I WAS A BRONX REPUBLICAN DELIGATE/DONOR FOR MANY YEARS(I use to tell my liberal Jewish friends that the conservative movement has deep roots in forward thinking men like marvin kyrstal and david horowitiz who left the belly of the beast for true principaled postions of fairness & freedom.
There is a movement to make it a transnational “human right” to be able to stay in America if you claim you were abused IN YOUR COUNTRY OF ORIGIN IN A DOMESTIC RELATONSHIP. They(progressives/socialist) are using the V.A.W.A. petiton as a first step to broaden this scam in America.

May 13th, 2010 at 12:32 amI agree with you on all the points in the interview. We need you. Keep up the good work & thank you for standing up for America when so many in DC aren’t.
Really wish you lived in Oregon.
Exceptional, strong, honest, critically important response that expresses what your constituents believe — you ARE our Representative, and this discussion explains why. “No more going along to get along.” Our nation is in grave danger of its economy cratering, our national security faltering, and our foreign policy disintegrating. We are on the precipice. We are looking for strong, unified, consistent leaders willing to stick their necks out to reverse course in order to save America. God bless. Carol
Thank you for pointing out the flagrant negligence of this administration with regard to radical Islamic terrorism. This administration does not like the constitution and wants the government to ignore its few, enumerated obligations of defense, while inventing many new government tasks that are NONE OF ITS BUSINESS. Thank you for stating the truth–which, I fear, President Obama will ignore because it doesn’t fit his ideological and political worldview.
Anne Nowlin Says:
May 15th, 2010 at 8:02 amCongressman Cantor, Yours is a well-researched presentation of the facts which I have no problems sharing with my more liberal friends: SOME OF WHOM HAVE OPEN MINDS, and will discuss this like grownups.
Thank you for your candid response to the current administration’s feeble efforts in dealing with the problems with which this country faces. Please be congruent in maintaining the tradition of statesmanship of Virginia’s contributions to leadership for the U. S. A.

May 21st, 2010 at 9:27 amCongressman;
I agree with you on your stance concerning our security and the ridiculous way the current administration is apologizing for us!
I called your office in Tappahannock and requested that you not vote for the bailout & tarp…but you did so anyway. Would you do the same thing again/
How do you stand on The Fair Tax instead of a national income tax? It seems that this would cover existing demands on tax dollars and bring back industries to this country that actually produce something of value that we can export to other countries and reduce unemployment.
We need moral leaders who put their country first instead of their own self-interests.
Thank you for serving your country.
Bob Armbrust

They(progressives/socialist) are using the V.A.W.A. petiton as a first step to broaden this scam in America.
contact me any time at 917-892-2922,
GOD BLESS,

May 13th, 2010 at 12:32 am I agree with you on all the points in the interview. We need you. Keep up the good work & thank you for standing up for America when so many in DC aren’t.
Really wish you lived in Oregon.
May 13th, 2010 at 3:49 am Dear Congressman Cantor:
Exceptional, strong, honest, critically important response that expresses what your constituents believe — you ARE our Representative, and this discussion explains why. “No more going along to get along.” Our nation is in grave danger of its economy cratering, our national security faltering, and our foreign policy disintegrating. We are on the precipice. We are looking for strong, unified, consistent leaders willing to stick their necks out to reverse course in order to save America. God bless. Carol
May 14th, 2010 at 11:40 pm Congressman Cantor:
Thank you for pointing out the flagrant negligence of this administration with regard to radical Islamic terrorism. This administration does not like the constitution and wants the government to ignore its few, enumerated obligations of defense, while inventing many new government tasks that are NONE OF ITS BUSINESS. Thank you for stating the truth–which, I fear, President Obama will ignore because it doesn’t fit his ideological and political worldview.
May 15th, 2010 at 8:02 am Congressman Cantor, Yours is a well-researched presentation of the facts which I have no problems sharing with my more liberal friends: SOME OF WHOM HAVE OPEN MINDS, and will discuss this like grownups.
May 18th, 2010 at 10:49 pm Congressman Cantor:
Thank you for your candid response to the current administration’s feeble efforts in dealing with the problems with which this country faces. Please be congruent in maintaining the tradition of statesmanship of Virginia’s contributions to leadership for the U. S. A.

May 20th, 2010 at 10:30 pm I agree wholeheartedly with what you had to say in the interview with Gretta. Keep it up. We NEED more like you and Newt Gingrich.
May 21st, 2010 at 9:27 am Congressman;
