House Republicans have consistently supported the research and development of our nation’s missile defense technologies. The critics doubted that such technology could ever be developed – they said it could never work. After successful tests, they then said it could never work under real world conditions. This week, we got the real thing. A rogue satellite carrying toxic materials was falling to the Earth; our missile defense technologies were deployed to destroy that satellite.
