Gitmo is central to American security in the 21st century. We should not only keep it open, but expand it and fund it through the next administration.

Yes these detainees aren’t even p.o.w.’s yet they are treated better than that. Mc Cain says we can’t aggressively interrogate because the enemy may mistreat our own soldiers. In case anyone is awake the last 2 American soldiers captured in Iraq were left in garbage bags on the road side dismembered,or the contractors burned and left hanging from a bridge.America is in for a rude shock when we finally awake from our politically correct slumber.Bush’s ratings are down because of his rules of non-engagement in Iraq, making our soldiers act like policemen;ignoring IRAN’s supplying of weapons, training, and personnel to kill our soldiers;keeping our southern border wide open despite the recent terrorist plot at Ft.Dix.NJ Go Figure? And we are supposed to support this incompetence only because the democrats are worse?Guillani is no better he loves open borders, gun control, homosexual rights etc.Yes keep GITMO open at least the ACLU will not be able to give our enemies, and non-citizens constitutional rights, yet.

  2. Just passing by Says:

How many convictions for international terrorism has Gitmo gotten us?

    Zero?

Oh, wait - there’s that Aussie guy who pled out so he could go home. One.

Yeah, Gitmo’s working out great. We need more Gitmo.

    Not.
